Enemies & Lovers - The Crown of Elfhame

Enemies & Lovers is a light and fast-paced card game of strategy, deception, and betrayal, based on Holly Black's bestselling Folk of the Air series. If you enjoy devising grand schemes, toasting your enemies' incompetence, beautiful artwork, and plenty of witty banter, this game is for you!

There is only one crown of Elfhame.

Each player starts with three cards. You will have a "hand," which are the cards you initially draw (or steal), and a "court," which consists of the cards you have placed face down on the table in front of you.

As you play, your goal is to assemble your court to include a coercion card, a prince card, and a conspirator card. Then, with the crown card, you will have manipulated your prince onto the throne (where your conspirator will undoubtedly rule from the shadows) and won the game.

On your path to victory, steal, poison, and spy on your opponent's cards by hiding, protecting yourself, and setting traps in anticipation of their attacks. Each match should last between 15 and 40 minutes, depending on the number of players and their luck and/or cunning.
