Elevenses

Elevenses  is a card game in which respectable socialites of the 1920s strive to serve the best morning teas!

Each player begins the round with an identical set of eleven "morning tea" cards. Each card has a point value and a special action to perform when played. The lower the point value, the greater its power. These powers lead to surprising interactions between players! The cards must also be placed in a specific location on the table. When a card is played, you usually retrieve the card that occupied its previous position, requiring you to plan your morning tea carefully!

The round ends when a player plays the "Elevenses" card. It's teatime! Players compare the values of their cards. Points are awarded for the best morning teas. The game continues until one player reaches 7 points or more. They have served the best morning tea and win the game!

The six-card  Elevenses expansion: Special Guests  is included in the game. With this expansion, each player secretly receives a Special Guest card at the start of each round. Each guest can only come to your tea party if you serve them certain dishes. If you play the right combination of cards, the guest arrives, you reveal the card, and your tea party becomes more valuable!
